Locum In Ireland / Northern Ireland
As a Doctor looking for work in Ireland, you will need the relevant right to work. You will also need to be registered with the Irish Medical Council to work in Ireland or the General Medical Council to work in Northern Ireland. You can find out how to register or check if you are eligible for Ireland and for Northern Ireland.
Contract Ireland
As a Doctor looking to work in Ireland, you will need to have Irish Medical Council registration and have passed the required English Language Test (IELTS or OET). For more information on how can you register with the IMC read our blog 'Are You Ready To Register'. Irish hospitals typically recruit SHOs and Registrars in the January and July of each year.
