Accessibility statement for TTM Healthcare Solutions
This accessibility statement applies to the TTM Healthcare Solutions website.
This website is run by TTM Healthcare Solutions. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
zoom in up to 175% without the text spilling off the screen
Use most of the website with just a keyboard
Use most of the website with speech recognition software
Use most of the website with a screen reader
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.
To change colours, contrast levels using browser or device settings
Please note: At zoom levels above 175%, a fixed-position "Register CV" button may partially cover some text on the page. We're currently reviewing this to improve accessibility at higher zoom levels.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility
TTM Healthcare Solutions is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
The website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.
This website is not compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. The non-compliances are listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Headings and Page Structure
WCAG 2.2 – 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
Some pages have skipped heading levels, inconsistent heading hierarchy, or multiple <h1> tags. This impacts how screen readers interpret page structure and content flow. We will resolve these issues as part of the upcoming website development. Exact dates will be confirmed.
Colour Contrast
WCAG 2.2 – 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)
Some text elements — including buttons, navigation links, scroll indicators, and footer content — currently do not meet the minimum contrast requirements. This can make reading difficult for many users, especially those with visual impairments. We plan to redesign these elements to meet the required WCAG contrast ratios as part of the current redevelopment phase, to be completed by early September 2025.
Image Alt Text
WCAG 2.2 – 1.1.1 Non-text Content
Some images currently lack alt text, use vague descriptions (e.g., “smiling”), or contain unnecessarily long alt text. In addition, certain decorative or hidden images are not correctly marked as decorative. We will review all images and ensure that appropriate, concise alt text is applied where needed. This work will be completed in the next phase of the website redevelopment, with exact dates to be confirmed.
Zoom and Text Resizing
WCAG 2.2 - 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum)
At zoom levels above 175%, some floating interface elements obstruct page content. Additionally, certain text cannot be resized using standard browser settings. We will address these issues by implementing proper zoom support and responsive layout improvements in the next phase of the website redevelopment. Exact dates will be confirmed.
Link Purpose and Behaviour
WCAG 2.2 – 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context)
WCAG 2.2 – 2.4.9 Link Purpose (Link Only)
WCAG 2.2 – 3.2.4 Consistent Identification
WCAG 2.2 – 3.2.5 Change on Request
Some links pointing to the same destination use inconsistent link text, which can confuse users. Additionally, some links open in new tabs or lead to external documents without providing advance notice. We will address this by rewriting link text for consistency and adding clear indicators for links that open in new windows or external files. This work will be completed in the next phase of the website redevelopment, with exact dates to be confirmed.
Video Captions
WCAG 2.2 – 1.2.2 Captions (Prerecorded)
Current video content does not include captions, making it inaccessible to users who are deaf or hard of hearing. We plan to add captions to all video content as part of the current redevelopment phase, to be completed by early September 2025.
Form Field Accessibility
WCAG 2.2 – 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
WCAG 2.2 – 3.3.2 Labels or instructions
WCAG 2.2 – 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
Some form fields currently lack proper labels or have broken label associations. Additionally, some input fields behave inconsistently or do not display a clear visual focus state. We will resolve these issues by improving form markup and ARIA associations in the redeveloped site. Exact dates will be confirmed.
PDF Accessibility
WCAG 2.2 – 1.1.1 Non-text Content
WCAG 2.2 – 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
WCAG 2.2 – 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context)
Linked PDF documents are currently not accessible and open in new tabs without notifying users in advance. We will provide accessible HTML alternatives or properly tagged PDFs, and ensure all external links include clear notifications. Exact dates will be confirmed.
Keyboard Navigation and Tab Order
WCAG 2.2 – 2.4.7 Focus Visible
Some elements are skipped or reached in an incorrect order when navigating with a keyboard, which affects usability for keyboard and screen reader users. Tab order and overall keyboard accessibility will be fully reviewed and corrected as part of the website rebuild. Exact dates will be confirmed.
List Markup and HTML Structure
WCAG 2.2 – 1.3.1 Info and Relationships
Some lists are not marked up correctly, and certain elements use non-semantic or script-generated HTML, which can cause issues for screen readers. Additionally, duplicate IDs are present in the code. We will ensure proper semantic HTML and clean, accessible markup throughout the new site. Exact dates will be confirmed.
Link Colour Reliance
WCAG 2.2 – 1.4.1 Use of Colour
Some links are currently distinguished only by colour, without additional styling such as underlines or hover effects. We will update all link styles to ensure they are clearly identifiable without relying on colour alone, with this work completed by early September 2025.
Noscript Elements
WCAG 2.2 – 1.1.1 Non-text Content
A <noscript> element is present but lacks fallback content, which may confuse users who have JavaScript disabled. We will audit fallback behaviours and ensure all essential content is accessible without relying on JavaScript. Exact dates will be confirmed.
Disproportionate burden
We have not identified any accessibility issues on this website that would constitute a disproportionate burden to fix. We are committed to ensuring ongoing improvements to accessibility as part of the website redevelopment.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDFs and other documents
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. For example, we do not plan to fix Paper timesheet PDF available for download.
Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.
Live video
We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We are committed to making this website as accessible as possible for all users. To address some of the key issues identified, we are currently working with our website provider, access Volcanic, to carry out a homepage refresh that will help improve accessibility.
While this is not a full website redesign, the updates to the homepage are a first step towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard and the European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements.
We recognise that this refresh alone will not make the entire site fully compliant, and we are committed to working towards a complete redesign in the future. In the meantime, we will continue to review and update our accessibility statement and make further improvements where possible.
Third-party content
Some parts of our website may include third-party content or features, such as embedded icons or tools linking to external platforms like Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. While we strive to ensure any content we choose to include is as accessible as possible, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party platforms or components we do not control.
For any third-party services we procure or integrate, we are committed to considering accessibility as part of the decision-making process. Where possible, we ensure our own content — such as videos or posts shared on platforms like YouTube — meets accessibility standards, including providing captions and meaningful descriptions.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement was prepared on 8 July 2025. It was last reviewed on 14 July 2025.
This website was last tested on 7 July 2025 against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
The test was carried out by a senior product designer at Rota, part of the Broadlake group. The most viewed pages were manually tested using tools such as Lighthouse, WAVE, built-in browser screen readers, and laptop-specific voice reading software. A further audit of the website was conducted against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
