More and more of our partners are becoming reliant on the international recruitment of healthcare professionals to underpin the achievement of their strategic objectives.
At TTM Healthcare Solutions (TTM) we’re here, equipped and ready to support you with every aspect of your international recruitment needs.
We can find that sometimes the talent you need is not readily available domestically: there is a need to look further afield. That’s why we have developed and honed an agile International Division which acts as a gateway to a wealth of talent abroad. Established in 2012, this division works with over 50 affiliated suppliers located across India, Philippines, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Europe – and we handle the complete recruitment process from start to finish.

Our Solutions

Right Fit Professionals

Our International Team specialises in sourcing and placing highly qualified healthcare professionals who are the right fit for our partners. We recruit internationally across a range of disciplines, including Nurses, Doctors, Allied Health Professionals and more. Within the Nursing sector alone, we place over 300 Nurses a month across a range of environments and settings - from acute to community healthcare environments. We have earned an outstanding reputation for supporting, consulting, shortlisting and prioritising healthcare professionals to come through the system faster, easier, better – which means substantial benefits for your organisation.
We place professionals from abroad with partners across the UK and Northern Ireland and Ireland and are proud to count the NHS in the UK and the HSC in Northern Ireland among our partners.

Committed to Compliance

TTM has a dedicated Compliance Division – responsible for making sure that all international talent meets the necessary requirements of employment and are ready to hit the ground running.
We ensure that all international talent are supported throughout their application and during the on-boarding stages of recruitment. Our International Division assists each healthcare professional to best allow them to live and work in the UK, Northern Ireland and Ireland. For example, we guide our International Nurses through their Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process as well as their Visa application if necessary.

The South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust, Northern Ireland, have been working in partnership with TTM Healthcare for two years, to recruit International Nurses into vacancies in the Trust, into our acute settings across our hospitals. The team at TTM Healthcare, Peter, Bryden and all have been excellent in sourcing nurses from around the world to come to Northern Ireland to work. From September 2020 to October 2021 TTM have supplied 280 international nurses and this has reduced our vacancies for adult nurses to the lowest it has ever been since I have been in this role despite the challenges of recruiting during a pandemic. Throughout the time the Trust has worked with TTM we have found them to be very professional and accommodating to our changing needs.

TTM’s collaboration has been instrumental in this success. From Day 1, Peter Maher, Bryden Cody and the wider ‘TTM Tribe’ have patiently supported the HSC Project Team & the wider Trust networks to set up processes in partnership to deliver volume and quality candidates. Recruiting from overseas can be complex and they have worked closely with us to deliver to our requirements and adapt to what we need when our requirements change. We have an open & honest relationship with the team and value their ideas and expertise to help us develop our overseas recruitment and solve problems and issues along the way, of which there have been many! What makes their service exceptional is that they are our partner, rather than a supplier, and we truly work together to achieve our project aims.

Working closely with TTM we have recruited high standard of candidates from various international locations each year. Tackling and managing risk, establishing standard processes and procedures, TTM have offered unique insight, solutions and advice to our recruitment challenges. Our nurses sourced through TTM are now a key part of our recruitment strategy for our Nursing and Midwifery workforce. During the pandemic it has been particularly demanding to navigate travel restrictions, government guidelines and developing risks, TTM have supported us every step of the way, flexibly adjusting their dedicated resources, working out of hours where required and working dynamically in partnership we have continued our programme delivery. Where we have increased our recruitment needs in the last two years, TTM have been able to increase and maintain our recruitment pipeline and ensure the Trust has been able to manage our increasing demands for experienced and skilled registered nurses, the ability to deliver increased numbers of arrivals into our hospitals and managed clinical services has been a key for our workforce strategy during the pandemic.

Anne-Marie Varney Corporate Director of Nursing, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
