Why they were nominated:
Samuel - Healthcare Assistant
“Samuel provides outstanding patient care by empathising with his patients, truly understanding their needs, and appreciating the significant difference he can make in their lives. His unwavering reliability and dependability are a testament to his dedication,” said Alan Considine, TTM Associate Consultant.
Weronika - Healthcare Assistant
Nominated by our valued client, Kilkenny Mental Health, and her TTM consultant, Shauna Greene.
"Weronika is extremely patient at all times, giving her full attention to each person and working at their pace. She never complains and even brings laughter to the patients in her care, which is especially commendable in a dementia care setting. Weronika displayed excellent care for one of our Spanish-speaking clients. She went above and beyond her role by learning some Spanish words and sentences to communicate effectively and help reduce the client's anxiety," said Niamh McGree, Allocations Officer at Kilkenny Mental Health.
Judd - Cleaner
"This month’s award recognises Judd for an outstanding display of dedication and professionalism. During a recent storm, Judd went above and beyond to ensure they attended their shift, putting patient care first despite challenging conditions. Their commitment exemplifies the resilience and compassion that define TTM." said Sandra McMahon, TTM consultant.
Andrea - Nurse
"Andrea has been a valued member of our Nursing Team since August 2022, showing unwavering commitment to her role at Letterkenny University Hospital. Her loyalty, approachable nature, and positive attitude make her a joy to work with and a true asset to both TTM and the patients she cares for." — Amy Bolton, TTM Consultant
Karen - Healthcare Assistant
A recent piece of feedback from a TTM team member visiting the hospital said it all: “What stood out most to me was Karen herself. Her kindness and passion for her work really shone through – even before she knew I was from TTM HQ! She took the time to speak with me, listen, and offer genuine support.”
