Staff Nurse Jobs - Dublin City

TTM Healthcare Solutions, Recruitment Agency of the Year 2022, are currently recruiting several Staff nurses on behalf of our Dublin based client. We are recruiting RGN’s and RPN’s for this charity to work in 7 different locations around Dublin City.

These are 6 month contracts of 35 hours per week. Hours: Depaul & Coolmine - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm shifts. Anna Liffey - Mon to Fri 9am to 6.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am to 3pm.

The post holder will provide in reach health and nursing support to service users in homeless and shielding accommodation and advise staff and service users on general health related issues and Covid-19 guidance.

The Role:

  • As part of the Inreach Health Support Team, the post-holder will maintain and deliver a high standard of nursing care providing skilled nursing assessment and intervention for residents across various services.

  • To practice and undertake all necessary nursing assessment, intervention and documentation in accordance with NMBI Scope of Nursing and Midwifery Practice Framework and Standards of practice.

  • To provide safe, compressive nursing care to a caseload of individuals across multiple settings including emergency homeless services, shielding units and other residential settings

  • Develop clinical expertise through nursing practice around issues related to the health and wellbeing of service users living in homeless services and shielding units. This role includes assessment, monitoring, intervention and referral to appropriate pathways for the management of chronic and acute illnesses for people with complex physical health, mental health and addiction needs.

Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience post registration working in the community, primary care or residential setting desirable.

  • Have active registration with NMBI

  • Have an understanding of harm reduction and low threshold working and working within these values as part of a multidisciplinary and multiagency team

  • Understand complex health and social factors related homelessness and addiction supports can be offered in services to service users with complex needs

  • Understanding of risk management principles.

  • Capable of responding calmly in a crisis and use your own initiative to deal with incidents as they arise

  • Have a knowledge and understanding of the vision, mission and values of the organization
