TTM Healthcare have partnered with one of Ireland's leading Health Insurance Company's to recruit a Utilization Review Nurse.
This is a full-time maternity leave contract working 38.5 hours per week. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work up to 4 days from home or alternatively they can work full time onsite.
The Role:
•Retrospective Clinical Evaluation of Claims to ensure treatment was carried out efficiently in the appropriate setting with appropriate Length of Stay and appropriate services provided
•Provide Clinical advice and support to the Business
•Attendance at internal team meetings and with hospital and consultants when required
•Liaise regularly with Clinicians
•Responsibility for reporting and analysing practice in Claims Activity.
•Update monthly reports on utilisation review.
•Draft letters, papers and presentations in relation to the clinical area as required.
•Awareness to market changes in the medical field
•Completion of any ad hoc duties which may be requested as part of the daily running of the Medical Practice Team

•Base salary of €45K + opportunity to earn up to 10% bonus based on performance related pay

Requirements:
•A registered General Nurse with a minimum of 5 years acute experience. The Successful candidate will ideally have experience in a number of different areas within an acute hospital
•Needs to have Computer skills and Presentation Skills, have the ability to be pro-active and decisive in analysing practice and implementing better ways of working creating efficiencies. Be confident when addressing issues with clinicians.
