TTM are recruiting a panel of experienced Support Workers to work in a leading intellectual disability day service in north Co. Dublin.
Job Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic, experienced Support Workers to offer support in a skill based training service. Service users are provided with a safe environment based on inclusion following the HSE New Directions Guidelines.
You would need to facilitate service users to maintain and promote their independence.
This job is for qualified, experienced Support Workers to on a locum basis as agency staff. Candidates must be available for a minimum of 27 hours per week.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
• A minimum of a FETAC 5 in Healthcare or a Social Care Degree - Level 7 minimum.
• Previous experience in a caring/support/ monitoring role working with children and adults who present with intellectual and physical disabilities.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards.
• Have fluent written and spoken English and excellent report writing skills.
• Be available for a minimum of 27 hours per week.
Training's required:
• Patient Manual handling
• Child Protection
• Fire Safety
• Safe Guarding of Vulnerable Adults
• Infection Prevention and Control
• MAPA
The Service Manager is keen to induct suitable and interested candidates as soon as possible.
