TTM Healthcare are proud to have partnered with one of Ireland's most established Services.We are currently recruiting for a number of Vacancies in Co. Limerick. We are looking to speak with candidates that have experience as a Support worker, Healthcare Assistant, Special Needs Assistant, Social Care Workers, Care Assistants and those with relevant life experience. This role is in a Residential Unit in Limerick with full time hours available per week. Due to planned growth and expansion within the services in the coming year, successful candidates will also have the opportunity to consider a full time permanent position should they meet the requirements.

This Services purpose is to enhance the quality of people's lives. They provide services across Ireland with their Social Care services supporting people with disabilities in residential, shared care, outreach and day service settings. Their main aim is to ensure they are offering a safe and happy environment for employees, while giving individuals the tools to grow and progress in order to reach their goals. About the Roles
The house provides residential support to adults with Autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities and physical & sensory needs.
It can provide residential/shared care accommodation for a maximum of 4 residential/shared care service users at any one time and can accommodate either male or female.
The service is residential / shared care services are provided to individuals between the ages of eighteen years of age up to sixty-five years of age (18yrs - 65yrs).
At present it provides support to 2 young ladies aged 18. We operate a sleepover and afternoon support rota.

What Will Your Responsibilities Be?
The delivery of client care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of Support Plans;
Ensure that practices within the service comply with Resilience's policies and procedures, to maintain the highest standards;
Liaise with Multi-Disciplinary Teams ('MDTs') when required;
Provide support to colleagues within the team setting;
Act as a mentor for new staff and foster a positive learning environment;
Participate in the development and review of risk assessments and report concerns.

What is Required?
You will have:
previous experience working with adults/children with physical, sensory and intellectual disability;
Experience working with service users with Autism and Epilepsy;
FETAC level 5/Social Care qualification or equivalent;
Completed or be willing to complete a Patient Manual Handling course;
Eligibility to work in Ireland;
A strong sense of empathy, flexibility and a team-oriented work ethic.
A Full Drivers Licence is essential.
