Our client provides quality services to adults with physical, sensory and neurological disabilities at a medium and high level of need.
They provide individualised supports to promote wellbeing, independence and quality of life for all people who use our services. At present they provide services to over 200 people in their own homes, in residential centres, in supported accommodation and in respite facilities.
Our client is looking for a staff Nurse to join them in Ardeen Co Wicklow. This role provides care and support to individuals living in a residential service and you will be required to establish and maintain relationships with individuals with disabilities that are based on respect and equality and working in partnership with service users to promote their independence.
What you will do:
Operating out of a social model of disability you will have responsibility for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of the care required to meet the physical, psychological and social needs of individuals with physical and neurotological disabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Encourage excellence and promote evidence-based practice
- Maintain clinical records and documentation, including care plans and the management of clinical risk.
- Engage with external and internal stakeholders such as medical and allied healthcare professionals and Cheshire Ireland clinical team.
- Actively contribute to ongoing improvements in the quality of care in line with organisational policy, best practice, and regulatory standards
- Deliver training as relevant to your role and participate in the development and implementation of policies
- Commitment to your own personal and professional development
- Develops open, honest, and respectful relationships with others and fosters good working relationships within the team.
