Our client a 51 bedded residential Nursing and Retirement Home in Co. Galway based on the West Coast, 8 minutes from Ardmore are actively looking to recruit 2 full time staff nurses to join their team. They will offer accommodation assistance as well.
They will consider both full and part-time nurses on a permanent full time basis.
Shift Pattern : 12 hours - 8am - 8pm or 8pm - 8am
Benefits Include:
Salary negotiable depending on experience, starting at €19 per hour
Double time for Public Holidays

24hr GP cover for the Nursing home

Paid Breaks
The Ideal Candidate must be/have:
Be active on the live NMBI register
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Good time management
Passion for the delivery of excellent customer service
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Provide care to patients and residents based on their care plan outlined by their doctor
Accurately monitor and record observations on patients' conditions
Maintain accurate records of residents care
Identify care planning needs
Carry out risk assessment
Consult and coordinate with other healthcare team members
Direct or supervise less experienced nursing staff
Monitor patients' diet and exercise
Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements
Report any issues that arose during each shift
