POSITIONS AVAILABLE - Staff Nurse (Full Time Permanent) - Elderly Care - Co. Clare - 25 minutes from Limerick City

At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with one of the largest independent Healthcare providers of quality nursing home care in Ireland are recruiting a Staff Nurse on a full time permanent basis for one of their 50+ bedded care facility based in Co. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Nursing the successful candidates will essentially be responsible for the provision of long stay care for clients.
The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment. They also provide respite care to give home carers a much needed break. The centre have a team of dedicated registered nurses and care assistants and ancillary staff that also provide help and support to a high standard
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be registered with the NMBI
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in gerontology / Care of the Older person.
Must have very good knowledge and understanding of HIQA and standards pertained to Care of the Older Person.
The Benefits :
Rate of Pay : €18 per hour for newly qualified nurse and upto €20 per hour for a Nurse with 2 years experience.
Paid training days
Paid Breaks
Dinners and Lunches are provided
Free parking
Minimum of 36 hour contracts
Premiums for working Sundays 33%
Uniform supplied (top)
Double time for bank holidays
Provide a death in service benefit
