We are currently recruiting a Staff Nurse to work in a Residential Detox & Addiction Services in North West Dublin (15 minutes from Ashbourne)
Position Staff Nurse
LocationNorth East Dublin
Salary: HSE 2021 Payscales
Contract Permanent - Full Time
Roster 12 Hours Shifts 8am - 8pm (Monday - Sunday) - Day Duty Only
Salary Pt13 on HSE Staff Nurse scale: 47931
1. Community Allowance which is 5728 per annum, 477.33 per month which covers fuel and travel costs
2.6 month probation
3.Bank holidays are days off and 21 days AL
4.Monthly payment on the 25th of each month, you need to start before the 14th of the month to receive payment in that month
TTM Healthcare have partnered with Ireland's leading homeless and addiction services who have a new vacancy for a Staff Nurse.
Our client provides housing and support to those who are long term homeless. Our client assist those with complex and high support needs such as physical, Mental or Addiction needs. The service provides a number of addiction and recovery services to include Residential Community Detox, Residential Stabilisation Services.
The team consists of Addiction Specialists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Staff Nurses, Support Workers and Psychologist. Our client has a dedicated team for each of its Services Nationwide and we are looking for a full time nurse for Co. Dublin
Responsibilities
To lead on the dispensing, storage and recording of medication in line with best practice;
Uphold all agreed quality standards and participate in the evaluation and audit of services in order to improve quality, standards of care and ensure clinical effectiveness;
To be cognisant of and comply with the An Board Altranais code of professional conduct;
Deliver excellence in nursing care to participants during your shift;
Provide the health education/health promotion service to clients;
In conjunction with the duty team, deliver nursing care to clients in line with Organisational policies, procedures and systems ensuring they meet the requirements of the key service objectives.
Ensure Nursing registration requirements are maintained.
Qualifications
Be a registered General, Intellectual or Psychiatric Nurse
Must have Residential Stabilisation experience for this role.
Essential competencies: communication skills, commitment to providing the highest level of service, professionalism and maintaining professional boundaries, respect for others, promoting choice independence, health and well-being and resilience & positive outlook (All other competencies to be reviewed as part of the supervision and support process)
Calm and client centered approach to their work.
