The Opportunity : STAFF NURSE - 5/6 MONTH CONTRACT - STARTING MID JUNE 2021 - DUBLIN 20
We are looking for a nurse who would do a fixed term contract to allow our nurses to go on holiday. We would need a nurse from mid/End June to End of October early November so that would be 5 to 6 months.
This is a full time contract with 35hours/ week worked in average (one weekend worked every 2 weeks). Days only.
This 30+ bedded Nursing Home is not easily accessible with a bus so potential candidates should live close by or drive.
Shifts start at 7am 7.15pm or 7am - 1pm
The interviews will take place as soon as possible on Skype and will be competency based on clinical knowledge, management skills, interpersonal/team building skills and communication skills.
Requirements :
• Care of the Elderly experience in a Nursing Home desirable
• Registered with the NMBI with valid work permits
• Up to date mandatory training including Infection Control, CPR, Medicine Management and Manual Handling
• Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills
• Can do attitude
• Team Player & able to work on own initiative
• Good English
• Computer literate: Windows 10 and VCare.
Benefits :-
€21 per (DOE) Paid for 12 hour and 15 minute handover, Lunch breaks are paid & Sundays premiums (time and a half), Double time for Bank Holidays, Lunches are €1 for small lunch and €2 for large lunch. Hours are 7am to 1pm or 7am - 7.15pm (Day Duty Only) 20 days holidays, free uniform, Half of relevatant courses will be paid by employer.
