Staff Grade and Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Basic Grade and Senior Speech and Language Therapist required for Community Healthcare West in Primary Care Centres. This area includes Castlebar, Ballina, Westport and Claremorris as bases. The Speech and Language Therapist will be working with paediatric disability and primary care. This is a contracted role for 3 - 6 months with possibility of extension thereafter.
Duties:
• Be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment / intervention programmes for service users according to professional standards.
• Communicate results of assessments and recommendations to the service user and relevant others as appropriate.
• Provide a high quality, effective and evidence-based service that is current and responsive to patient needs
• Ensure that professional standards are maintained in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation.
Requirements:
•A Relevant Qualification is required
•CORU registration mandatory
•Eligibility to work in Ireland (hold a working visa)
•Experience in Paediatrics is desirable
•Full Driver's licence and use of car essential
