About the Service:
The National Councelling Service is a an adult service within the HSE that specialises in working with adults living with trauma and adult survivors of childhood abuse.
The purpose of the NCS is to support clients to improve their quality of life and reduce their psychological distress through the provision of evidence based, professional, client centred counselling for adults who experienced childhood abuse or neglect through trauma informed counselling.
Job Details:
Location: Galway/Roscommon/Mayo
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: €42,657-€61,901 per annum
Duration: 3-6Months with provision for extension
Requirements:
BSc/MSc in Social Work or its equivalent
CORU Registration
Eligibility to work in Ireland
Full Clean Driver's Licence and access to own transport
