Attuned Programmes are hiring a Social Care Worker for a full-time permanent contract based in the Aftercare Service located in Kildare.
Attuned Programmes Ireland bespoke aftercare services provides support and accommodation for young adults who are leaving care. Attuned Programmes Ireland recognises the inherent individuality of each young person with its primary focus being on meeting them where they are at' in a non-judgemental, non-confrontational manner that supports their developing independence through healthy social relationships wherein the staff team role model and engage with the young people in a lived aftercare programmes are 1-3 years in duration depending on the needs of the young person.
The Social Care Worker will support the young person in developing self-care and independent living skills while helping them to develop the capacity and opportunity to eventually live an independent life in the community. The successful Social Care Worker will be highly motivated and have an interest in playing an active role in supporting the resident and service development, while working within a structured and supportive team.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Level 7 degree in Applied Social Studies or Professional Social Care - Social Care Practice.
- Candidates must also have a deep commitment to children and young peoples' rights and protection and enjoy working in a dynamic and at times challenging environment.
The Following degree minimum equivalencies may be considered:
- Level 8 in Psychology
- Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy
- Level 7 in Counselling Professional
Or a Professional qualification in:
- Youth and Community Work
- Social Work
- Social Sciences
- Teaching & Nursing
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working within a Trauma Informed Approach
- Experience working with vulnerable young people
- A full clean Drivers Licence
