Would you like to join a team working with a young person providing community based, activity orientated sessional outreach in Kildare.
Our client values their teams of Social Care Workers experience and expertise in their own profession and involve the teams at all levels of reviewing policy, developing Working Groups and being central to continually improving the organisations delivery of high-quality services.
This post would suit someone who has a passion for working in mental health / Aftercare and is looking to work reduced hours of up to 20 hours per week.
This may be of interest to someone who is looking to maintain certain social welfare benefits while working part time hours. There will be some degree of flexibility on the working hours.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
• Experience of working with vulnerable adults/young people in areas such as residential care, homelessness, addiction, mental health, youth services, community-based work.
• A passion for working with young vulnerable adults and a keen interest in helping young adults reach their full potential.
• Ability to lone work and to work on own initiative in challenging environments.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good Computer skills
Requirements
NFQ Level 5 qualification in health, community or social care and relevant experience.
Desirable Criteria
• A full clean driver's licence
