Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Senior Speech and Language Therapist required for maternity backfill for the in Cherry Orchard Hospital, Dublin. This is a contracted role for 6 months with possibility of extension thereafter.
Cherry orchard Hospital comprises of 161 continuing elderly care beds including up to 21 respite care residents. The centre is registered to provide 24-hour care to male and female residents aged over 65 years.
The Senior Speech and Language therapist will be required to deliver a speech and language therapy service to the residents of Cherry Orchard Hospital residential units. The post will involve working with people with both communication and swallowing difficulties. The post will also include a developmental and educational role within the organisation for relevant service areas, residents and carers. Working in a multidisciplinary team is essential in this role.
Requirements:
•A Relevant Qualification is required
•CORU registration mandatory
•Eligibility to work in Ireland (hold a working visa)
•Dysphagia qualification and experience essential
