TTM Healthcare are seeking applications from energetic and enthusiastic Senior Psychologists to join a HSE setting based in Dublin North CAMHS.
We have 2 roles on offer:
1 x Senior Psychologist for Day Hospital
The Day Hospital senior psychologists will based in North Great Georges Street DNCC CAMHS. The role will be to provide specialist psychological assessments and formulations and to implement plans for the psychological treatment and management of clients attending the Day Hospital Service of DNCC CAMHS. Liaison with a broad range of other disciplines and agencies, including health, education, social services, voluntary agencies and care systems. The post holder will also provide support through supervision and consultation to staff within the Day Hospital and across other teams in DNCC CAMHS.
1 x Senior Psychologist for Waiting List Initiative
The senior psychologist employed on the waiting list initiative will be employed to join a multidisciplinary team (Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, and possibly Nursing and Psychiatry) in DNCC CAMHS to focus on reducing those waiting over 6 months across the service by conducting comprehensive intake assessment leading to clear psychological formulations and care plans. It will also be expected that the post holder will provide brief treatment and interventions to address mental health difficulties. You will also provide specialist psychological advice and consultation to other professionals and teams in our service on the needs of clients assessed.
Essential Requirements:
•Possess a recognised professional post-graduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychology; Clinical graduates in the process of completing their post-graduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychologist are welcome to apply;
•If qualified outside the Republic of Ireland, have their qualification validated by the Department of Health or may be working towards meeting compensatory criteria set up by the Department. Validation certificate needs to be included with this application.
•All candidates must meet the registration requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
•Eligible for Senior Posting
•A good level of understanding of Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, intellectual disabilities and the co-morbid conditions associated with it.
