TTM Healthcare Solutions are recruiting for a Senior Psychologist based in Johnstown Co. Kildare.
This is a full-time permanent role, working within an intellectual disability setting.
The role offers the opportunity for remote working and working across the whole CH07 catchment area, supporting individuals across a variety of day services, college, at home or in the community.
Our client is recruiting for a Senior Grade Psychologist to join the team and work across a variety of services and organisations in CHO7, to develop pathways and models of how best to support school leavers and young adults who present with complex needs. We strive to support a positive transition for the young person into adults' services with the support of a full MDT comprising of Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Physiotherapy, Behaviour Support, Speech & Language and Psychology.

Requirements:
• Hold a minimum QQI Level 8 qualification in Psychology
• A post-graduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology that meets the requirements of the Psychological Society of Ireland or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health, for employment as a Senior Grade Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
• Have at least five (5) years post-graduate experience, two of which must be as a full-time staff grade clinical/counselling psychologist
• Demonstrate competence in working with adults with disabilities - either as part of a professional qualification or as supervised practice as a basic grade psychologist
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland
• Full Clean Licence - access to own vehicle
Duties include:
• Provide direct psychological services to a defined case load, individually and at group level.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team structure.
• Develop training modules for frontline staff as part of our model of service delivery.
• Develop standing operating procedures and clinical pathways.
• Provide clinical supervision as required.
• Develop and collate professional reports as required in accordance with high professional standards
• To consult in family meetings and case reviews as required.
• To ensure effective maintenance of client records in line with legislation and policy guidelines
• Timely updating of statistical records, including use of our client's electronic database
