SENIOR PSYCHOLOGIST - LIMERICK
TTM Healthcare Solutions are proud to have partnered with AVISTA in Limerick who are currently seeking Senior Grade Psychologist to join their team. The purpose of the post is to provide high quality, flexible,family centered service to persons with an intellectual disabilities, ensuring their assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic needs are met and service users are treated with utmost respect and dignity.
JOB DETAILS
Location: Limerick
Contract: 6-12 months with possibility of extension thereafter
Number of roles: 1
REQUIREMENTS
• University degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject AND an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology OR an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health
• Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
• Candidates must be of suitable character and present high degree of professionalism, trustworthiness, solid ethical core, appropriate boundaries and demonstrate empathy for patients
• Candidates must demonstrate good management & leadership skills as Senior Psychologist, in addition to their day-to day duties, will:
- co-ordinate and monitor the caseloads, ensure smooth running of all operations
- supervise basic grade psychologists and the training of students
- participate in the annual performance review
- ensure good working relationships and health, safety & wellbeing of service users, employees and visitors
