Senior Psychologist, required by TTM Healthcare, to work in Children's Disability Services, based in Co. Donegal.
The Senior Psychologist will be responsible for the delivery of professional psychology services appropriate to the post in line with best practice, carrying a clinical caseload appropriate to the post and provide psychological assessments for the client group based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources including psychological tests, self report measures, direct and indirect observation and interviews with clients, family members and/or carers.
This is a permanent, full-time position with the HSE.
Requirements:
• Meet the Psychological Society of Ireland and Dept. of Health guidelines for employment as a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist in the Health Services
• If the applicant qualified outside the Republic of Ireland, their qualifications have been validated by the P.S.I./Department of Health
• Candidates must be fully qualified and registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland, with minimum 5 years' satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the postgraduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist
• Completed placement whilst training or post training within Disabilities Services
