Senior Physiotherapist
Senior Physiotherapist to join the Integrated Care Team for Older Persons within Tallaght University Hospital. This is a contracted role for 3- 6 months possibility of extension thereafter.
Duties:
• To work as part of an integrated care team across both the community & acute hospital settings
• To be responsible for the provision of a high quality Physiotherapy service in accordance with standards of professional practice
• To work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the population it serves in line with the objectives of the organisation
• To work with the Physiotherapy Managers in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centred physiotherapy service across and between networks in the geographical area.
• To carry out clinical and educational duties as required
• The person appointed to this post will work as a Senior Physiotherapist on the Integrated Care Team for Older Persons.
• The post holder will be taking a lead role in working closely with the MDT in the Hub in the Hospital and Primary Care
• To record metrics and outcomes for the patient and the service and report appropriately to the national programme for Older Persons
• To achieve this they will be working with the Integrated Hub patients and will be providing treatment to them on-site at the day hospital, in the persons own home or in another location e.g. local health centre
Requirements:
• A Relevant Qualification is required
• CORU registration mandatory
• Eligibility to work in Ireland (hold a working visa)
• Full Driver's licence is essential
