Role: Senior Physiotherapist
Job Type: Permanent, 35 hours per week

Overview of Role:
TTM Healthcare are currently working with one of Galway's Leading Private Hospitals in search of a Senior Physiotherapist. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide advanced clinical care in Medical and Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy by conducting assessments, delivering treatments, and managing patients within the service. You will collaborate with the physiotherapy manager to implement service changes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Independently assess, analyze, and diagnose individual patients within the specialized area of Medical and Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy.
•Effectively manage a caseload of predominantly complex cases.
•Serve as a highly specialized clinical resource within the physiotherapy service to enhance overall clinical care.
•Maintain accurate patient documentation, records, and statistical information to meet professional standards.
•Stay current with clinical knowledge and skills in the specialized field to ensure evidence-based care delivery.
•Offer training and advice to physiotherapy staff in the specialized area.
•Support physiotherapy in-service for personal development and occasionally lead in-services in the specialized field.
•Participate in the departmental Personal Development and Performance Review system for personal and service development.
•Monitor activity and assist the Physiotherapy manager in prioritizing resources to meet service demands.
Requirements:
•Degree in Physiotherapy
•Registration with CORU
•Membership with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) is desirable.
•3-5 years of clinical experience with 2 years of specialist experience.
•Completion of relevant Post Graduate Courses.
•Desirable: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training.
•Good communication skills
•Team player.
•Ability to work independently.
