Senior Pharmacist, required by TTM Healthcare Solutions, on behalf of a HSE Hospital, based in Donegal
As Senior Pharmacist, you will be involved in the provision of a comprehensive pharmaceutical service, the supervision/storage and supply of drugs, pharmaceutical and other related items and providing services in the wards of the Hospital as may be required.
Other duties will include, but are not limited to, the development and expansion of the ward pharmacy service, maintenance of records for purchasing, quality control, compounding and dispensing; ensuring that the needs of patients and professional staff re being adequately met by the pharmaceutical service provided and provision of advice as required to medical and nursing staff on the proper and economic use of drugs and medicines.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Key Requirements:
Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
Minimum three years satisfactory post registration hospital experience
Possess the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
Possess an excellent knowledge of pharmacy computer systems
Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative
Demonstrate a patient focused approach
Have excellent interpersonal skills and proven written and verbal communication abilities
Have the ability to work on own initiative, prioritise and manage a number of issues simultaneously demonstrate attention to detail.
