SENIOR PHARMACIST- DUBLIN
TTM Healthcare Solutions have partnered with HSE National Drug Treatment Centre, who currently have an opportunity for Senior Pharmacist to join their team.
ROLE
Principal duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Supply of drugs, pharrmaceuticals and other related items as may be required.
• Purchase, storage and supply of medicines to wards and department with reference to legal requirements, transit, security and conditions of chemical and physical stability.
• Maintenance of records for purchasing, quality control, compounding and dispensing to the standards required.
• Provision of advice, as required, to medical and nursing staff on the proper and economic use of drugs and medicines including participation in schemes for the dissemination of information relation to drugs and drug usage.
• Participation in personal continuing education activities, to ensure continual professional development.
• Participation in protocol and guideline development, quality initiatives, audit and service development
• Have a working knowledge of HIQA Standards as they apply to the role
JOB DETAILS:
Location: Dublin
Salary: €63.974k - €74.042k per annum
Duration: 3-6 months initially with a scope for an extension thereafter
Number of roles: 2
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be a registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• Must have own professional Indemnity Insurance
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
