Position: Senior Occupational Therapist
Salary: DOE
TTM Healthcare is currently looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist on a full time permanent basis for our clients based in Celbridge, County Kildare. Our clients support individuals with intellectual disabilities to be active parts of the community that they live. This is a permanent full-time position.
The successful candidate must:
Have a recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy including full CORU registration.
Have a minimum of three years' post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist, and preferably experience working with adults with intellectual disability.
Have keen interest in management of seating, posture difficulties and management of sensory processing disorder.
Have keen interest in working with older adults and in the area of dementia.
Demonstrate ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team providing services to adults with complex needs.
Demonstrate excellent initiative, flexibility, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrate ability to provide clinical supervision and supporting others development.
Have a full clean driver's licence and access to own vehicle.
Desirable:
Membership of AOTI
Training in management of Sensory processing disorder
Training in management of Complex seating and Posture difficulties
Experience in the area of Dementia and family/staff training
