Are you looking to go from a Basic Grade to a Senior Grade Occupational Therapist? Have you experience working with children with disabilities?

TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently look to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapists for a CDNT with initial location in Kildare Town.
Our client in line with the HSE National Programme for Progressing Disability Services, iis the Lead Agency for provision of supports for children aged 0-18yrs who present with complex needs across South Kildare West Wicklow.

The successful candidate will join an established Interdisciplinary CDNT which reconfigured in 2014 providing supports to children and young people aged 0-18 years who present with complex needs. There will be opportunities for continuing professional development. They will work in partnership with children and young people with disabilities and their families, to support their development to enable active participation in community life.

Essential criteria:
  • Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) or an Occupational Therapy qualification recognised by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU
  • CORU registered or be able to show proof of pending registration
  • Relevant post graduate experience and/or under-graduate placement experience in a paediatric/disability setting
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Have 3 years full time (or an aggregate of three years) post qualification clinical experience)
  • Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good IT and computer skills
  • Effective use of reflective practice/supervision process
  • Some flexibility in working hours will be required to meet the needs of the service
  • Experience supervising Occupational Therapy Students and/or Occupational Therapy Assistants.
