TTM Healthcare currently have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Manager, on behalf of Ireland's largest independent hospital group, for a role based in Dublin.
As Laboratory Manager, you will be providing leadership resulting in the delivery of an effective, efficient, quality assured and patient centred Laboratory service, and in collaboration with Consultant Pathologists and Chief Medical Scientists, responsible for the coordination and provision of all Pathology services.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the department, scientific and allied staff; contributing to the development of services and structures; leading quality, achievement and maintenance of accreditation, continuous quality improvement and technological development and managing the changes necessary to achieve organisational objectives.
This is a full-time, permanent post, with competitive salary and excellent benefits on offer.
Key Requirements:
•BSc in Biomedical Science (must be ACSLM approved degree)
•Post-graduate Degree in the field of Medical Laboratory Science
•CORU registration
•At least seven years' experience in a Medical Laboratory, two years of which were spent in a promotional post
•Eligible for Fellowship of The Academy of Medical Laboratory Sciences
•Previous experience in management and delivery of a comprehensive pathology service is highly desirable
•Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
