Senior Staff Nurse - Co. Clare
THE DETAILS:
Job-Type: Permanent
Salary: €20- €22 per hour

At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with one of the largest independent Healthcare providers of quality nursing home care in Ireland are recruiting a Senior Nurse for one of their Care Homes a 50+ bedded facility based in Co. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Nursing the successful candidates will essentially be responsible for the provision of long stay care for clients.
The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment.
Your Clinical Responsibilities:
This state of the art community nursing home provides a high standard of care 24 hours a day and offer residential care as well as specialist care for those with dementia. They also provide respite care to give home carers a much needed break. The centre have a team of dedicated registered nurses and care assistants and ancillary staff that also provide help and support to a high standard
Your Educational Responsibilities:
Must be on the live register with NMBI
Your Communication Responsibilities:
Must possess excellent communication and team lead skills and work well in a team environment.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
Must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in gerontology / Care of the Older person.
Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of HIQA and standards pertained to Care of the Older Person.
The Benefits :
Further education support (post-grad, masters etc) – depending on course, and this may be the provision of study days as opposed to financial aid. Case dependent (but want to be careful how we promote this!)

Minimum of 36 hour contracts
Premiums for working Sundays 33%
Uniform supplied (top)
