Senior Medical Scientist (Histology) and Quality Co-Ordinator, required by TTM Healthcare, on behalf of a Limerick based Hospital.
As Senior Medical Scientist, you will be performing a dual role between Histology and Quality Co-Ordination, implementing and overseeing the Quality Management System to the ISO15189 standard and accreditation requirements.
This is a full-time, permanent position and would suit a Senior candidate with experience in Histology who is looking for extra responsibility or a new challenge.

Key Requirements:
- BSc in Biomedical Science, specialising in Histology (as recognised by the ACSLM)
- Membership of appropriate professional body ACSLM/CORU
- 4 years' experience in a medical laboratory since qualifying as a Medical Scientist in a healthcare or accredited Laboratory
- Excellent understanding of the principles of Quality Management and Healthcare Standards
- Proven experience of implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems is desirable including INAB ISO15189 standard, accreditation requirements and Joint Commission International
- Excellent report writing skills with ability to emphasise the important points in a clear and concise manner
- Additional qualifications in Quality Management, Supervisory Management, Health & Safety or Risk Management is desirable
