Senior Medical Scientist, Blood Transfusion Laboratory required by TTM Healthcare, on behalf of a Private Hospital based in Dublin
Job Purpose
The post-holder is a member of the senior laboratory team, responsible for participation in planning, co-ordinating and promoting all activities within the Blood Transfusion laboratory to support the needs of referring consultants and their patients
This is a full-time position permanent post with competitive salary and excellent benefits offered, with professional and personal development strongly encouraged.
Key Requirements:
•BSc (Hons) of Science in Medical Science or Biomedical /Medical Laboratory Science
•only ACSLM/CORU approved degrees can be considered
•Possess a NFQ Level 9 post graduate qualifications or equivalent qualification at minimum Level 9 validated by the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine;
•CORU registration
•Possess four years full time clinical experience (or an aggregate of four years' clinical experience) as a medical scientist in a clinical diagnostic laboratory since qualifying as a medical scientist.
•Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
