TTM Healthcare Solutions are currently working with a HSE organisation in Donegal in search of a Senior Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
This post is a Senior Psychologist role working in the Community Neurorehab Team, based in Co. Donegal. You will be a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with Neuropsychological experience. You will hold either a pre-qualification neuropsychological placement or have post qualification Neuropsychological experience

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide clinical leadership to the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) in Donegal.
•Be responsible for the delivery of professional psychology services appropriate to the post in line with best practice.
•Carry a clinical caseload appropriate to the post.
•Provide psychological assessments for the client group based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources including psychological tests, self-report measures, direct and indirect observation and interviews with clients, family members and/or carers.
•Formulate and implement plans for psychological therapeutic intervention or management based on an appropriate conceptual framework, working in home and clinical settings as appropriate.
•Contribute a psychological perspective to case planning and multi-agency case working and review and call multi-professional meetings when appropriate.
•Provide professional reports as required in accordance with professional standards.
•Communicate effectively and work in co-operation with team members and others to ensure integrated service provision.
•Represent and advocate for the psychological needs of service users.
•Work in and promote an ethical and professional manner at all times.
•Undertake Key Worker role as required.
•Initiate and participate in needs assessment and health promotion as appropriate.
•Deputise for the Principal Psychologist as appropriate / required.
•Promote a culture that values equality, diversity and respect in the workplace.


Requirements:

•Meet the Psychological Society of Ireland and Dept. of Health guidelines for employment as a Senior Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologist in the Health Services
•If the applicant qualified outside the Republic of Ireland, their qualifications have been validated by the P.S.I./Department of Health
•Candidates must be fully qualified and registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland, with minimum 5 years' satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the postgraduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist
•Completed placement whilst training or post training in a Neuropsychology setting
•Full driving license and access to a car
