THE OPPORTUNITY:
Locum Social Care Worker Dublin
This role is based in a residential setting and applicant must be available to work shifts & weekends, including sleepovers
We are looking for experienced Social Care Workers who can display and deliver their passion for working in a Residential environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The overall responsibility within this role will be to
• Provide supportive counselling, emotional and practical support, and information to service users and their families.
• Promote independence, self-reliance, self-determination and empowerment with persons in their environment, with families and local groups.
• Work within current legislation, relevant policies and procedures, guidelines and protocols as laid down by the employer.
• Promote a culture that values diversity and respect in the workplace.
• Keep the Team Leader fully informed and up to date on all significant matters.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need:
• Social Care Qualification Minimum level 7
• Access to a car and full divers' licence desirable, not essential
• Experience in residential services - desirable, not essential
• Good knowledge of legislation within the area
• Permission to work in Ireland
• Excellent communication skill with children and adults
• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
• Professional approach to work
