To be eligible for this role you must have
- Must hold a Degree in Social Work or equivalent - and be registered with CORU (the regulatory body for Health and Social Care professionals in the Republic of Ireland) as a Social Worker at the time that application is made.
- Maintain live annual registration on the Social Workers Register maintained by the Social Workers Registration Board at CORU.
- Must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, professional and managerial ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
- Candidates must possess the competencies and skills appropriate to working with persons with an intellectual disability.
