Job Title: Respiratory Physiologist

TTM Healthcare are currently working with a leading private clinic located in the heart of Cork, committed to providing exceptional healthcare services. Their state-of-the-art facility focuses on personalized patient care, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Respiratory Physiologist to join our dynamic team.
As a Respiratory Physiologist at our clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:
Diagnostic Testing: Conducting a variety of respiratory diagnostic tests, including spirometry, lung function tests, and sleep studies.
Patient Assessment: Collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess patients' respiratory conditions and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Treatment Planning: Assisting in the development of treatment plans based on test results, working closely with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
Equipment Management: Maintaining and calibrating respiratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in diagnostic testing.
Patient Education: Providing education to patients on respiratory conditions, diagnostic procedures, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Respiratory Physiology or a related field.
Certification: Valid certification as a Respiratory Physiologist or IICMS Equivalent.
Experience: Proven experience in conducting respiratory diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic testing and record-keeping.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing work environments and patient needs.
Professionalism: Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
