			        	Our Client is based in Longford and provide Residential and Respite Services for Adults and Children with intellectual disabilities.
We are looking to recruit a Residential and Respite Coordinator .
The post of Residential and Respite Coordinator will have a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating, and managing activity and resources within the residential and respite services attached to St Christopher's Residential and Respite Services. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance and compliance, resource management, staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Residential and Respite Manager
• Monitor and report to RRM Audit compliance, Bi Annual and annual inspection action plans.
• Hold leadership accountability for the planning, implementation and on-going review of Residential and Respite development initiatives and future service delivery
• Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership in response to changing needs.
• Hold accountability for the delivery of supports and services to children and residents.
• Participate in teams / meetings / committees as appropriate, communicate and work in co-operation with other team members
• Collaborate with residents, family, staff and other MDT members in the care and support planning and in the provision of support and advice
• Hold accountability for quality, safety, incident and risk management and compliance as it refers to delivery of services.
• Deputise for the Residential and Respite Manager in his/her absence or as directed
• Maintain professional standards in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation
.
The role will suit either a Social Care Qualified PIC or a C.N.M.3
Salary will go from 55k-64500 Depending on experience.
