POSITION AVAILABLE - Registered Nurse (Full Time Permanent) - Residential Care Facility based in Co. Sligo within walking distance to Sligo Town.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Nursing the successful candidates will essentially be responsible for the provision of long stay care for clients. The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be registered with the NMBI and that your PIN is active
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in gerontology / Care of the Older person.
Must have good knowledge and understanding of HIQA and standards pertained to Care of the Older Person.
THE REWARDS:
Rate of Pay : €18 per hour for newly qualified nurses and €20 per hour for experienced nurses.
Further education sponsorship (post-grad, masters etc)
Paid training days
Paid Breaks
Minimum of 36 hour contracts
Premiums for working Sundays
Subsidised canteen
Uniform supplied
Double time for bank holidays
