POSITIONS AVAILABLE - Staff Nurse - Full Time Permanent - Residential Care Facility - Close to Galway City Centre

At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with one of the largest independent Healthcare providers of quality nursing home care in Ireland are recruiting a Staff Nurse on a full time permanent basis for one of their 50+ Bedded Care Homes just 20 minutes from Galway City. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Director of Nursing the successful candidates will essentially be responsible for the provision of long stay care for clients. The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment. This nursing home provides a high standard of care 24 hours a day and offer residential care as well as specialist care for those with dementia. They also provide respite care to give home carers a much needed break. The centre have a team of dedicated registered nurses and care assistants and ancillary staff that also provide help and support to a high standard
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
Must be on the live register with NMBI
Must have a minimum of 6 months experience in gerontology / Care of the Older person.
Must have good knowledge and understanding of HIQA and standards pertained to Care of the Older Person.
