Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: HSE Hospital, Cork
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 40,534 62,375
TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for Radiation Therapists to come and join a Leading HSE Hospital in Cork. You will be joining a dynamic healthcare team, where your skills as a Radiation Therapist will contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent.
•CORU registration or at Advance Stage (Recognition)
•Proven experience in delivering radiation therapy treatments.
•Strong knowledge of treatment planning and simulation techniques.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
•Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and nurses, to develop and implement treatment plans.
•Conduct patient assessments and provide education on the treatment process, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
•Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
•Monitor and assess patient reactions to treatments, making necessary adjustments to ensure the effectiveness and safety of the therapy.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
•Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of industry advancements.
