At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with our client, a national organisation who have an available opportunity for a Quality Safety and Practice Development Manager.
This role is with a non-profit organisation that works across the country providing dementia specific services. It provides day care centres, home care services, carer support groups and respite centres.
The purpose of the role is to deliver safe best practice dementia care services and supports which comply with legislative and regulatory standards,
It will also involve leading, contributing to and supporting the implementation of the clients Enterprise Risk Management Framework, with a focus on continuous quality improvement initiatives
This is a full-time permanent position and may involve an element of travel. Work may be based from Head Office, Regional Offices and /or working from home.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, disseminate, and review care practice policies, procedures, and guidelines for all services
- Act as a professional/educational resource for all staff and management in the areas of best practice dementia care
- Further develop the support system for staff through the provision of skilled knowledge and advice on best practice person centred dementia care.
- Manage and oversee the continuous development of the Health & Safety policies
- Assist in the development of internal and external partnerships with relevant stakeholders
- Respond to any incidents with a focus on action review and enhancement of quality driven dementia care.
- Further develop and implement the system of audits, service reviews and evaluations with a focus on continuous quality improvement and learning.
- Assist in developing and managing innovative pilot projects
Requirements:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must be a registered nurse with the NMBI
- Must have 10 years' experience working in the health sector
- Ideally have 5 years' experience in a similar role leading quality standards and best practice
- Must have a full clean drivers' licence
