TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Quality Manager on behalf of their Mayo based facilities.
The Role:
This is a senior management role in the organisation. This role will focus on the management and development of each nursing home and all of its processes which ultimately affect resident care. This will involve working with each home in order to ensure that the care provided is in line with national standards whilst ensuring that it is also efficient and productive. It will promote an environment for staff to excel and for residents to live safely and with a good quality of life. The role is twofold: 1) weekly onsite monitoring of operations and 2) management of people, processes and outcomes.

The role is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday, some flexibility is required. The successful candidate will be overseeing the management of 3 of the nursing home groups homes in Co. Mayo.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Lead, direct, support and manage the teams in each home.
•Lead on projects and deliver on these according to pre-determined project plans, timelines and deadlines.
•Empower PICs & staff and assist in developing them to their full potential.
•Utilise energy in a positive way and ensure that workload is managed so that the role can be at its most effective.
•Contribute to and influence innovation within the nursing home and across the company.
•Support the nursing home teams to find the best solutions to complex problems.
•Ensure that the care provided is evidence based, meets national standards and is cost effective and efficient.
•Ensure that the PIC has a productive home.
•Monitor all operations in each home and together with the PIC conduct audits & maintain KPIs.
•Where non-compliances are evident address same with the PIC and drive accountability and action.
•Liaise with facilities, finance and HR to ensure that the home meets all of the national and Nursing Home standards and requirements.

Requirements:
•Be registered on the live register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland)
•Have at least 10 years (10) post registration experience of nursing.
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in senior management positions in residential care for older people
• Hold a relevant post graduate award at level 9 (Masters Degree) in relevant subject areas.
•Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability)
•Specialist knowledge in Gerontology
•Knowledge of and experience of the specialists areas of complaints management, financial management, compliance and regulations.
•Knowledge of a range of management techniques to enthuse and engage the teams
•Advanced and specialist IT knowledge
