Psychologists (Senior) - Tipperary - Temporary 12 month post
At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with a Mental Health Service in Tipperary who currently have requirements for a number of Senior Psychologists.
Senior Psychologists positions available in Adult Mental Health Service.
Senior Psychologist position available to work as part of Children and Adolescents Mental Health Team.
All posts are full time with an expected contract duration of 12 months.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
• Hold a recognised University degree/ diploma obtained with first or second class honours in which psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject
or
• Hold a recognised qualification equivalent to the above.
• Hold a recognised post graduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychology recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
• Be eligible for senior grade i.e. has a minimum of at least two years' experience working at staff grade level, following completion of post graduate professional training.
• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (to include a high standard of suitability) for proper discharge of duties of the post.
• Extensive relevant experience of working with children/ adolescents with mental health issues.
• Have competence in clinical audit and research skills
• Candidates who have completed their post-graduate training outside the Republic of Ireland must ensure that their qualification is validated by the Department of Health and Children at the time of the application.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar service
• Have permission to work in Ireland
