Child and Adolescent Primary Care
Temporary Psychologist vacancies have arisen in the HSE CHO 1 Adolescent Primary Care Service as part of a national waiting list initiative.
These are full time posts with an expected contract duration of 12 months.
The Psychologist would join the existing Psychology team in the provision of a range of lower and higher intensity services in response to a range of child and family needs.
Services offered include individual assessment, consultation and advice (to families and staff), psychological therapy and group interventions. Services include the delivery of parenting programmes, educational talks and workshops, brief Parent and Teen advice clinics, individual and group interventions.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need to:
• Hold a recognized validated post-graduate qualification in Psychology, as recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland. ( See more info ://www.hse.ie/eng/staff/jobs/eligibility-criteria/psychologists-clinical-counselling-educational.pdf)
• Must be a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
• Applicants who qualified outside the Republic of Ireland must already have their qualifications validated by the Department of Health and Children and the Psychological Society of Ireland.
• Be eligible to work in the state.
