Role: Basic Grade Psychologist
Location: Waterford (South East Region Services)
Employment Type: Full Time (70 hours per fortnight) Permanent
Salary: In line with the HSE Salary Scale - €57,000 - €98,000
TTM Healthcare are currently looking to recruit a Basic Grade Psychologist on a full time (70 hours per fortnight) basis for our clients South East Region services based in Waterford. Our clients are a major voluntary organization, who provide age-related residential, educational and day services for people with intellectual disabilities, autism and communication disorders throughout Ireland.
Duties;
The successful applicant will work as a member of the Psychology team in the Waterford Services and will deliver psychology services to a range of day and residential services for adults with a range of learning disabilities, some of whom have autism. They shall have the ability to participate proactively as a member of a team and contribute positively to the ongoing development of the psychology department.
Applicants Must;
Have a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) in which Psychology was taken as a significant subject
Have an Irish post-graduate professional qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology or an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health
Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for
Applicants with a clinical or counselling psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings for the area/areas for which they wish to apply
Applicants with an educational psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings for the area/areas for which they wish to apply
Have experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities
