TTM Healthcare in partnership with our client in West Cork is currently recruiting a Psychologist for a 6 month contract.
This post is open to basic and senior grade educational and clinical psychologists. Interested candidates must have at least 1 years' experience working with children complex needs/disabilities.
This is a part-time position working 2 - 3 day per week.
Requirements:
Hold a recognised university degree or diploma with first- or second-class honours in which Psychology was taken as major subject and honours obtained in that subject
Have a recognised professional post - graduate qualification in Clinical, or Counselling Psychology and
If the applicant qualified outside the Republic of Ireland, their qualifications have been validated by the P.S.I./Department of Health, with proof of validation submitted with the application
Applicants should:
Meet the Psychological Society of Ireland and Dept. of Health and Children guidelines for employment as a Staff Grade Clinical or Counselling or Educational Psychologist in the Health Services.
Have an interest and experience in working with Children with intellectual, physical and sensory disabilities (with or without a diagnosis of autism) and/or behaviours that challenge.
Have excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and effective caseload management skills together with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Have a full clean driving license and use of a car.
