Job Responsibilities:
·Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with their individual care plans.
·Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
·Monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
·Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and coordinated patient care.
·Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
·Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques.
·Adhere to all healthcare regulations, protocols, and standards of practice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
·Valid nursing qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
·Proven experience working as a psychiatric nurse, preferably in various clinical settings.
·Excellent clinical skills and a strong knowledge of nursing best practices.
·Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and colleagues.
·Flexibility and adaptability to work in different healthcare settings as per the job requirements.
·Availability for varying shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays.
