Psychiatric Nurse / Mental Health Nurse - Primary Care Services

RPN/ Mental Health nurse required for a primary care service based in Dublin city centre.

This community facility is an addiction service aimed at those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They offer a range of support services including:

Homeless services
Drug and alcohol services
Detox and rehabilitation services
Healthcare services

This role is based in the primary healthcare centre and is based on a 39 hour week Monday to Sunday.

Duties include:

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised service user, person centred care programmes
Develop and maintain close links with the service users and their families ensuring a partnership approach
Promote recovery and enhancement of the quality of life for service users.
Be competent in relation to all relevant clinical procedures and policies
To provide mental health nursing interventions
To provide mental health crisis interventions
To manage clients and support with their recovery
To ensure assessments and care plans are carried out
To manage emergencies

Requirements:

The successful candidate must:

Hold full NMBI registration under the Psychiatric/Mental Health division
Be permitted to work in Ireland
Strong communication skills
