Person in Charge - Co. Meath
Our client a very small privately owned residential care home based in Meath is actively looking to recruit a Person in Charge / Director of Nursing.
The centre provides continuing care and short-term convalescent or respite care to retired clergymen who have worked as missionary priest overseas. Currently they have 19 residents so this role may suit someone who is looking for a work / life balance and wants to move away from a larger care home or an ADON who wants to progress to DON.
Benefits :
Salary of €75K (depending on experience)

Working 8am - 4pm (flexibility around these hours) - Monday - Friday only
The Person in Charge / DON as a member of the Senior Management Team, is responsible to direct and coordinate the management of the home in accordance with best practice and within available resources. The PIC will coordinate the management of all staff in establishing and maintaining a high standard of care and service in line with Statutory Regulations and in line with the vision, values and strategic plan of the Retirement Home.
The Person :
The ideal candidate for this position will have full registration on the general register of the NMBI and a minimum three years post graduate experience. You will possess a significant management background in residential care for older people or in a closely related area. Post-Registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is also desirable.
