Contract: Fulltime permanent 39 hours per week
Salary: €45,969- €53,709 Per Annum


TTM Healthcare are delighted to have partnered with an intellectual disabilities service with one of three communities based in Co. Cork. They have an available opportunity for a Person in Charge role on a full-tim,e permanent basis.

The overall responsibilities of the PIC is to provide leadership and support to the residential service in the Cork community. The successful candidate must be committed to providing the highest standard of services in support of adults to live satisfying, fulfilling and interesting lives and must have essential qualifications.

The successful candidate will:
  • Assume day to day management responsibility for the delivery of the highest standards of care to core members (residents).
  • Ensure that the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the core members are identified and that strategies and care plans and practices are in place to reflect the response to needs identified.
  • Ensure that the dignity, humanity, and value of each core member is a permanent feature of all practices.
  • Assume the role of the Person in Charge (PIC) in all matters dealing with the regulator (HIQA)
  • Work with the other communities in Ireland on common issues as required.

The Requirements:
  • Social Care degree or related
  • A minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role in the area of health or social care
  • Level 6 Management and Leadership course is essential
  • Full driving licence and willingness to drive house vehicles
  • Experience of working with people with intellectual disabilities
